Artists of all levels and
mediums are invited to
“paint in the open air”
(‘en plein air’) during
Snoqualmie Days,
9am-3pm!

Artists will choose one of two scenic Snoqualmie locations that celebrate the theme:
“Rivers and Railroads”
- Artist Registration 9am-12noon, Railroad Park Gazebo, 7971 Railroad Ave.
- Advance Registration by email to nwiebe@snoqualmiwa.gov.
- Artists must register and have their canvas or watercolor paper stamped to compete.
- Paintings must be returned to the Gazebo 2-2:30pm. Community viewing 2-4pm. Top 3 paintings selected by 3:30pm. Paintings not selected need to be picked up by 4pm.
- Top three paintings will be displayed Aug 22- Sept 2 in the Falls Compounding Pharmacy windows for community voting.
- Winning artist will receive $300 gift certificate, 2nd place and 3rd place artists will receive $200 and $100 gift certificates respectively.
- 1st place painting will be designated as the “2023 Plein Air Paint Out Poster”.
- Art sales allowed, but artist must be working on-site throughout the day.
- Artists, families, and art enthusiasts are welcome at this free event.
